Monthly ATC Invite - February Garden Calendar

This month's entry for the ATC invite Penny started over at the Linen Shelf. I liked how January turned out so I think I will stay with this theme for the year using the titles from an old gardening encyclopedia. 
The background for the month is pine trees which I was able to match with the Pine Grosbeak from a vintage birding book (love when that turns out). Added a little stickles around the edges. Still dealing with winter weather here (4 inches at least came down today) at Maple Hill - but Spring is just around the corner. Enjoy! Jewels

    I quite like this one. Bird stuff is always good and the vintagey feel is very nice.

    I REALLY like this one, Jewels!! I love how you've put the image with the background. Lovely colours. The stickles adds extra texture interest.

    Spring IS just round the cornet but it's still very wintry tho only a dusting of snow here.
    This is lovely Jewels and displayed beautifully. I like how you have a theme going. I do too. Thank you for joining in the challenge !
