Calendar Collage: October
Well it is easy to get into Halloween or Autumn themes this time of the year - but I decided to do something a little different for the month of October.
I love this book I thrifted at SA a few years back - it was published in 1948...
...I particularly like the drawings - this one is a lot of fun.
It inspired me to think about the Fall garden and planting bulbs...
Which I have done a lot in the past - but it will be a few months before the Tulips and Daffodils bloom here!
I have been free styling the last few month with my entries which I've quite enjoyed - will be interesting to see how it works on this spread! Enjoy. Jewels.

I love this idea Jewels. I'm planning doing a monthly calendar next year too. I'm not sure yet tho' whether I'm going to do it in an altered book, or use separate sheets of paper to make it easier to work on. *Brain ticking over here*
