Giddy Up!
Well for once I was first out the gate with monthly Mail Art. Our theme for August is Cowgirls (or Cowboy Girls depending how you Google).
I loved the image of this young lady (Leslie thinks she is getting ready to beat the tar out of someone, LOL) and the Dale Evans quote. I used scrapbooking paper, star punch, and lots of inking for the different effects.
On the back I scanned an old postcard I had - liked the font. Had a lot of fun at the post office - a friendly postie was very impressed - and very helpful. Next month is Poetry in Motion (can you guess what song that comes from?) - there are so many poems I can think of but pretty sure I've settled on the one I will use. Enjoy. Jewels

Very cool and beautiful mail art jewels!! I like the stars sprinkled on the front and the sewing around the edge. So happy your got a friendly postie!! My sister and son just left, so I am coming up for air -lovely to find your post : ) lenna
