Vintage Circus Mail Art

I can finally "reveal" my mail art exchange with Fiddlesnips Jo! This was the wonderful postcard she sent me:
I told her I kept hearing the song Daring Young Man on the Flying Trapeze (don't ask me why) which led me to Google the song and find out all about Jules Leotard (one guess the invention he was responsible for). 
Anyway, there was a great photo of him AND I also found the sheet music for the song that was stuck in my head. Used different papers, gesso, inking and images - I love how it turned out. Enjoy. Jewels.

    I never really thought about who invented the leotard or why they're named that until this very second!

      Yes I have Jules to thank for all my misery on the 1980's taking Jane Fonda classes LOL

    I loved Jo's when you showed it a while back and yours is equally wonderful. What a great theme. I may have to do an ATC or five in that vein. Very nice!

    This was a fun swap to do, Jewels - you come up with the best themes! I love Mr Leotard, he has taken pride of place on the mantlepiece in the sitting room.
