Summer of Colour - Purple and Lime Green

Vanessa is a rather posh addition to my Girls of Summer collection...
...every summer she likes to give tours of the family garden (which by the looks of it is HUGE)
She especially loves to point out the butterflies and she even has her special butterfly dress she likes to wear this time of year! 
May have something to do with the fact her name literally means "butterfly" (seriously go look it up...)
In fact she is very good at identifying them ... so much so she is known as the Butterfly Guide...LOL..

    'Posh Vanessa' haha!! I never knew that Vanessa meant butterfly so I've learned something new today! Is this postcard sized, Jewels? It's super. Wonderful photo, perfect background. Great choices for purple and lime green.

    She's a pretty girl. Are these thrift shop photos? It's so fun to give them new life, isn't it? She looks pleased with her butterfly dress and her summer job.

    I love old photos and your backround piece accents the photo beautifully. I also like the story. It really gives the piece an even more personal touch. I'd love to know what techniques you used to create your backround piece. I enjoyed peeking around your site seeing all your different work. :) You definitely did a great job representing the color combo for the week.
