Creative Swaps
One of my gal pals is Lenna - whose creativity AND generosity never ceases to amaze me. She has introduced me to so many new things and has been a wonderful mentor even during moments of artistic crisis (who can forget Dang, Fudge and Recovery - an inside joke dealing with the gluing of altered book pages).
I had never done swaps before outside of a close group of friends here in town until Lenna got me fired up and going. So far there have been Vintage Note Cards...
And Little Books...
We've also done a personal swap using the same image...
And of course Mail Art! The latest swap I have joined is Post Cards - another first for me (though you can read about my trial run in my last post). And of course in her most magnanimous way she is doing a Give Away for her Creative Swap blog - I'm torn as the more I tell folks the worse my chances are for winning (boo hoo).
