So here are ones from this past weekend....
Hope you don't get bored with all the flowers (who could?)....
Or the wild life...
Don't you love the purple of this pine...
It's not every year I am there to enjoy the Lilac either - so cut a bunch for my kitchen window...
And a clam shell I had found on the shoreline... Enjoy. Jewels
The pine cones are gorgeous. The purple/green combo is really nice. Is that first flower a trillium? Looks like one. I've never actually seen one in person but the name popped into my head when I saw the pic. You're very lucky to have such a lovely place to run off to. The clam shell drawing is good.
ReplyDeleteThe flowers are gorgeous - and, yes, that is a trillium. Sherry has some in her garden. You are really getting good with your drawing - looks like those lessons are paying off. I love the direction your art is taking, Julie. It's so nice when you are doing something you love.
ReplyDeleteLovely photos, Jewels. Nothing tops flowers or wildlife. I agree, your drawings are very nice. I personally like the lady slipper. Thanks for sharing your part of the world with us. Hugs.
