...well not really but be prepared for a lot of yellow in this post LOL!
I joined in for the first time over at A Swap for All Seasons hosted by Linda. The fact that the theme was "Spring" was just what I wanted to work on! Three items needed to be created and sent to another swapper starting with a handmade card.
I have always loved this image - I have two postcards from England from the late 1950's featuring images done by Berta Hummel. I copied this one to use for my card. The background is fabric I copied on to card stock (one of my favorite things to do).
The second item was a handmade tag...
This is similar to another I did for Tag Tuesday awhile back. I had all the materials still so I figured "what the heh" and included yellow birds on the tag.
I included a little stand for displaying.
Last was a little yellow "destash" - the timing was perfect as I have been doing a lot of that lately.
Though surprisingly I don't have a lot of yellow...
See those clothes pegs - my decorative painting "phase" still comes in handy now and then LOL. Any who everything has been sent to Elizabeth. Looking forward to seeing what I will be receiving from Bev! Enjoy. Jewels
SO pretty, I love all that yellow - and now I'm going to have that song on my mind for the rest of the day! I can only dream of Spring (you too, I suspect!).

Wow, your card and tag are awesome! I love it all. I'm sure you'll love your package from Bev. She's great! So glad to have you in the group!
ReplyDeleteI feel that yellow is the colour of hope and promise, Spring and renewal - add in a bit of fresh green and your away! A delightful collection of lovely bits and bobs you have put together there. Do your needles blunt a great deal when sewing paper?
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely yellow, sunny day
Best wishes

Oh, what a fun package you put together. I am in love with the blue, white and yellow quilted piece and will pin that pic on my Pinterest To Do board so I can copy it.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the sweet words on my blog which led me to you.
I too will be back.
