Haha, the madness begins, indeed! Get plenty of paper, you will get through reams and reams of it. Don't be afraid of creating some muddy messes, that's the way you will learn what does and doesn't work. 'LIKE' the Gelli Arts Facebook page, that is always a great source of inspiration.
my best advice is to jump in and play! I found looking at videos helped and then just TRY something! Have a pile of papers nearby, various types. I bet you would enjoy pulling prints off vintage papers ;)
